The raven cafe is one of the best places I have ever had the chance to stop in and enjoy a Ruben. The menu is amazing. The different selections of tea alone are worth the visit. The staff is super friendly.I would highly highly recommend stopping in and trying the Raven cafe
Ah yes, the food was great, the ambiance, as was the wine. The BLT and soup I ordered. It was perfect and better than anything I have ever made. GO THERE, you will become very very happy! Douglas
Tried the Raven again for lunch and this time everything was good. The Mahi tacos were loaded with fish and served on double tortillas, good, though could have used a bit more spicy heat. The beet salad with beet hummus was quite good and a good amount of food for the price.
This establishment is roomy, the music was jazzy at a volume you can have a conversation, the food is beautifully presented, and taste delicious. It really isn't easy to find a place with such great food at affordable prices.
Cortez street is adjacent to Whiskey Row and is filled with shops and restaurants. This little place was the perfect spot for breakfast and definitely well known by local patrons. It is a coffee bar and also a full liquor bar for the morning Bloody Mary or a stop back at night for live music or movie night. The coffee was serve yourself and always being freshly brewed. But you could also order a number of coffee drinks from the counter as well as a nice little breakfast menu: I had the breakfast scramble with bacon and it was delicious. My only complaint was that it had a LOT of jalapeƱos in it. I would have left them off if I had known how many there would be! (I just picked them out- see pic). My husband had the breakfast burrito which also came with a side/ he had the fruit. All the servers and barista were friendly and service was efficient. This place is in a historic building so it was fun to look around and appreciate the architecture along with local art on the walls. If you're in downtown Prescott and want something a little off the beaten path, check this place out!
Cute space with local art & beautiful rooftop patio. Order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Easy peasy. Food is kind of inconsistent. We went one day and ordered the hummus plate and vegan nachos. Both were piled high with amazing toppings. We thought about that meal nonstop, so we went back 2 days later at the same time, but the portions were minuscule. Consistency in the kitchen is key. Luckily, the flavor was good both days. However, we actually had to go back and ask for more "cheese" sauce because they put so little on the nachos! Strangely, the hummus plate had a ridiculous amount of plain cherry tomatoes on it. Not sure if they were trying to use up the produce before it went bad, but we actually laughed at the level of tomatoes. Still, a laid back place to go for vegan options, beer specials, lattes and more. We'll definitely give them another chance.
Small cafe just off the square. Upstairs, they have a lovely patio with lots of potted plants and a good view of the mountains. The food is delicious and worth the wait. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon, and the place was hopping. The hummus was to die for and the veggie burger was just as delicious. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. This is a great spot if you're looking for a lighter/healthier option. In the evening, they typically have live music, which has always been great to enjoy each time we've visited.
Always a fan. I've been coming here for years, and it's my home coffee shop- away from home. Great service, viewed, and delicious coffee. I tend to patronize more for the drinks, but I enjoy a healthy and light meal every now and then. Come for the drinks, stay for the games and live music.
I was in Prescott over the weekend working. I met up with a family member also staying in town for the month of June. She recommended we try out Raven Cafe for breakfast on Saturday. I am so glad she did! This cafe is located in the downtown Prescott area near the main square & whiskey row but off to the side, down Cortez. As I walked by I noticed how cool the exterior of the building is. I like the old brick and wood. Since this place is not on Gurley St itself I think it's tucked away enough and you have to be looking for it. There was no line and it was a very relaxed atmosphere for a Saturday morning. We ordered at the counter from very friendly staff and decided to check out the upstairs patio since I wanted to be outside in the cooler temps. After all, if when leaving the valley to beat the heat, it's awesome when it's at least 20 degrees cooler! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my aunt had the huevos rancheros. Both meals were delicious and nice size portions. Usually I would have ordered a coffee since they are a cafe and I love coffee, but I am cutting back on it temporarily for the moment. And they also have wine and beer but same, I'm on a break for my liver ;) This place was so good I went again on Sunday for brunch with my coworkers. We sat on the rooftop patio and this time I had the breakfast burger. So good!! 2 days in a row and both times I experienced friendly staff, quick service, no lines or waits (which I appreciate) and a really great place to eat and chat for a while. This place has a happy hour M-F 3-6 and hosts events trivia, movie night, and live music. That all sounds fun as well. Great spot in downtown Prescott. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
